Supporting Families – Each year, ChicagoCAC serves around 2,200 children and their families.
No Cost for Care – All clients receive services at no cost to them.
Responding to Crisis – ChicagoCAC responds to an average 1,800 reports of child sexual abuse, physical abuse, witness to violence, and human trafficking.
A Legacy of Care – Since its opening in 2001, over 52,000 children have received life-changing services from ChicagoCAC.
Seeking Justice – As the only children’s advocacy center in Chicago, staff complete over 1,500 specialized forensic interviews a year.
Healing Through Therapy – Children receive more than 7,000 hours of therapy a year to help in their recovery from the trauma of abuse.
Advocating for Children – Over 1,600 children share their stories with staff, child protection, and law enforcement partners in order to be heard and find safety.
Providing Access to Care – By offering transportation, more than 1,000 children and caregivers are able to get to and from appointments at the center at no cost.
Empowering Communities – Through education, outreach, and prevention efforts, over 7,000 adults each year gain tools to protect children and recognize signs of abuse.
Expanding Support for Survivors– CAN Hope, Chicago’s first Family Justice Center offers services to adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
